This is where I bitch.

I generally don't remember my dreams, but this weekend I had one that did stick with me, or at least a small part of one did. I dreamed that I arrived very late to my father's birthday party. I had actually shown up just as everyone was leaving. I apologized, but none of my family was concerned at all, that my attendance wasn't expected nor missed. It put me in a very down mood all weekend. Not sure what my subconscious is trying to say. Nothing good.

I had a weird dream last night, and I remember it, which is odd for me. It was kinda long and involved, but the only part I really remember was talking with Paul about how many party's and events we had to go to in the next week. We had to go to an AIDs fundraiser (which dose exist, but we can't make it), Ben's house warming party (which also exists and we are going to tonight), some event of channonyarrow's (I don't remember exactly what), a cookout thrown by Shannon, and a party thrown by exairian (she had drag queen strippers at it--I don't know why, but she did). Bizarre.

No weekend word at Omnipress, though I did get to bring home an iPad so I can play around with eBooks on it. I've used them a few times, but am not nearly experienced enough with one to do tech support for our products with our clients--something I think will be happening. I do need to swing into the office today and send out an email I forgot to send on Friday.

Working at the mall this morning, then I have an organization project at home. Paul has been redecorating, moving stuff around so that the house's Chi flows better. Things are a lot less cluttered and there is lots more open space. But I have a bunch of things to put away that he shouldn't have to do. Then tonight is Ben's house warming party, where I get to see my college/gaming friends again. It's been a while.

I have some freelancing plans in the works. More on that as they develop. I was really happy that when I asked my new boss if it's OK for me to do freelance book design and eBook conversion she said yes. She told me they encourage that, as I'll pick up more skills that I can then use at work. As long as I'm not working for a customer or a competitor it's no problem. The new company is pretty cool.

I was gonna post yesterday about Friday night's dream, but LJ seemed down most of yesterday.

So, my dream: I was hanging out with my friend Eric and somehow got talked into feeding a biker gang. And this is a harley riding, midwest gang, where the guys are old, gray, fat and grizzled. The women are over weight and skanky. And if a guy isn't old, he's a redneck. So Eric and I were trying to figure out where to go to get the food, wavering between McDonald's and Taco Bell, and I found out there were 200 bikers.

The garage sale went fine. Paul and I made $9.25. w00t. But the rest of the stuff that didn't sell is being taken to Goodwill by Blythe's mom, so at least it's not back in our basement.

Hot and humid today, and yesterday afternoon. I've been thinking about my friends on the ACT 7 ride all weekend. Hope they are doing well. The pictures being posted to Facebook are nice, it's good to see them on the ride.

So wiped out. Someone (love you hun) had me awake at 2:30am. That someone is still in bed and has today off. I was so tempted to wake him up when I got out of bed. Everyone notice the high ground here? Good, mark it down.

Not sure my brain is really working this morning yet. Probably need food and coffee.

Had a dream about being a vampire. No other details were retained.

I must be stressed, I find myself wishing for a simpler life.

Vollyeball was OK. We played like crap, but I think there is some meshing problem with our team. Cause I played a match subbing on another team, and did well. And I saw other team members subbing and they did fine. So it's something about our line up. It rained off an on, enough to make it muddy and humid. Got to see Bob (my ex), he's moving to Florida today. Best of luck to him, he's had a few rough months lately.

We have a new bunny hole in our yard. Not sure if it's the same parents, but really, how stupid can you be and still survive? It's in the middle of the front yard this time. JP found it last night. That's always fun. Paul is going to spray for weeds today, so he'll have to figure out a way to get them to move before he sprays that area.

Softball, in theory tonight. Depends on how the fields are after the rain. Plans for killer bunnies after.

I had a weird dream where we had to take care of like 5 other pugs. We were fostering them for the human society or something. There was a black one and I was all ready to keep it but Paul didn't want to. Not sure why. I only mention this cause I never remember my dreams.

I cheated on my "no credit card" plan. I needed breakfast this morning and we have no food in the house. So hit McD's. And I needed a father's day gift for dad. Need to hide it away again tonight.

I forgot my sun glasses on Sunday at Jess and Lari's, need to swing by soon. Too sunny to drive without them.

We lost our softball game last night by one run in the bottom of the 7th. It was a pretty good game. Most of our team needs skills training, but that is what the league is for. I do take offense at the inconsistent reffing, the lack of energy of my team, and the crappy coaching. Jess and I are planning on cocoaching next year. That way it won't overwhelm either of us. My coach doesn't even know everyone's name yet. Season is half over. Just lazy. her coach isn't any better. I slid again and now my other knee has a scrape on it. When will I learn I'm old?

Still on same boring project at work.

I usually don't remember my dreams, but last night I dreamed I was hanging out with Em and she was ignoring me. Not sure what that means, but I think we need to hang out again soon.

The other day I was telling my coworker Alexis how I never remember my dreams, so I figure since I remember one from last night, I'll write it down. Not that it's interesting. I was trying to play volleyball and people kept showing up on the court, all wanting to play. But they also wanted to chat among themselves. So I spent a lot of time trying to organize a bunch of gays and lesbians into teams and moving them onto other courts so I could play, but more would show up. Frustrating.

Today is more project clean up. The next version of my project starts up in May, so I'll have a few months of this file clean up and helping others before I have to be in charge of something. In theory. I'm sure something will come up I'm sure.

Worked at the mall last night. I remembered everything, even after a month or so off. I spent most of the night reading the Watchman comics scifispice80 posted. I like it, very cool. Want to try and read it all, then go to the movie.

Has not been a good morning.

I slept a lot later than I wanted to, still in earlier than my average day, but not as early as I wanted.

The two Nteflix disks we have are both broken, one cracked in half--the other freezes at the menu, and I was supposed to mail them out this morning. I forget due to the rushing around this morning.

And normally I don't remember my dreams, this time I did. I was in the living room playing with JP and he was getting really excited and crazy (like normal). Then I noticed that he'd played so hard he split his side open. I could see his insides. Not a good dream to wake up to.

EDIT: I should mention that JP didn't actually seem to notice or care that he had split his side? Oh, and there was no blood either, just thought of that. Zombie dog?

And now my tummy/ulcer hurts. :(

It can only go up from here, right?

We really didn't do very well last night in the men's volleyball power league. I'm fairly certain we never got above 10 points. The other team wasn't that great, we just didn't have it together. But after the 9 months where we've played nothing but rec ball, jumping into a power game left us all on our heels. I think we can do better, maybe if we change up the line up more or get our setters back (they were both gone last night). I'm not too worried. I had a good time.

I had a star trek dream last night. Not sure about what, exactly, since I don't generally remember my dreams, but it was star trek. I kinda want to watch some, good timing the Voyager came from Netflix yesterday.

Not much to do today at work. Hopefully I can find something besides watching the LayersTV podcasts.

Dinner tonight for Paul's birthday. he has the day off too, lucky guy.

Most of last night was napping, with a short break for the pilaties class at the gym. I think I over did it there though, a lot of me hurts.

Another dream last night that I kind of remember. Which is weird, because normally I don't remember these at all. This one actually woke me up at 4am. The "big scary" was that I couldn't find my boots though. Because I really, really need to do something and couldn't leave until I found them. Still, seem silly reason to wake up.

Volleyball tonight, and hopefully I can met up with exarian for her birthday. She will like her gift, I think. Also, Happy Birthday to B! Welcome to the old folks home.
