Well, it sounds like the problem with my computer is that I'm using it. It crashed again today, a new type of crash where windows became semi transparent in parts. But unbeknownst to me, they'd swapped my computer with another one (I feel I'm in a coffee commercial). So it sounds like I will have to run the minimum programs need for work. No iTunes. No leaving my email open. No chat. Peachy.

I'm ready to leave, but gonna wait until the catered lunch arrives.

Also, more kernal crashes on my work computer. I hope some day I get a new one.

It's so nice out, I want to leave!

Due to some things that happened this weekend (which I don't want to actually talk about due to privacy issues), I think the way the volleyball league is run will change. For the better, I hope. I really haven't been very involved recently. Due to two board members fighting all the time and trying to back stab each other, and the other members either ignoring it and playing peacemaker or getting pissed and making it all worse, all I've been doing is updating the webpage as requested. But we have some new members, ones that I consider level headed, so I think I will be involved again.

Yesterday we had a good day with softball practice, going to the dog park, grilling out and then playing Killer Bunnies. I just wish I had gotten more of my chores done.

And on a funny note, all of the "fl" ligatures in our company news letter dropped out. Irony, I know who you are.

I hate, hate, HATE people who "join" you at the median. The situation: On the way home from work I come to an intersection with a divided road, one with a median between the directions. So when turning left, one can check the oncoming traffic and when clear move to the median and sit there until the traffic one is merging with is clear. But some people decide that there is enough room to pull up next to a person, one one's right and sit there also. Blocking one's view of the on coming traffic. So after cursing through the window one has to inch out enough to see around the other car. It's even better if they are in a truck. Anyone know if that is just stupid, or also illegal?

For most of the morning my little finger was numb. I figure I had a pinched nerve some where alone my arm. Over lunch I did something to fix it, I guess. Gotta love my body. Skeletal structure for the win.

I had hoped that they would have found someone to cover for me on my old project so I could keep working on the project that we have no hope of making the deadline. But since they consider me amazing, I guess I get to try and do both. Oh well, over time is good. Right?

So, my car seems to have "fixed itself".

I didn't know they did that. I have the sedan version of KIT. It appears to have been a "electrical glitch" and it sorta reset itself on Friday, and all is well.

Total cost: $79

Much better than the $4,000 quoted at Saturn. I'm happy I got a second opinion. Now I just have to walk in the freezing rain to get it so I can drive to the mall. I'm very happy I don't have to try and make a bus.

My stress level has gone down quite a bit.
