This is where I bitch.

Jess decided to have a dinner party last night, kinda spur of the moment. So I was informed I needed to get dressed up and bring chocolate dessert. Her dinner was vegetarian, of course, and was mostly mango and papaya. There was a clod salad, rice with toasted almonds on raw papaya, and a slightly spicy fake chicken with mango chutney on it. Very yummy. Then Jess won the shortest Killer Bunnies game yet.

Now I sit and wait for the project lead on my new project to figure out what needs to be done today and then give me work. So kinda bored. I want my own project again. Will have to be a good cog to get there.

Double header tonight at volleyball. I also need to call about a job, figure out what to do with the chair on our curb (it's ours, but was supposed to be picked up by St. Vinneys), and the house needs major cleaning. Is it time for another vacation yet?

We played the first expansion of Killer Bunnies and the Journey to Jupiter last night. Some fun additions, long game though. Only a few fights, it was kept to a low rumble. Tired today though, I'm hoping I get to sleep in some this weekend while we are in the Twin Cities. All of that is laid out, I think. Should be a nice trip.

New project at work. Lots to do on it and man, is it slooooow. Mostly because it takes 10-15 minutes per correction to a) figure out what they want and b) find an example of the change so we can implement it. I'm sure it'll pick up soon, after we've figured out most of the types of changes and what needs to be done for them. My machine also had to be changed to new settings, so I can't even go back to the old project and help, unless I jump over to another machine.

Heading downtown tonight to drop off some part-time job apps, mostly at hotels. Pat told me the Hilton is hard up for catering staff, and since I left there on good terms and already know my way around the food areas, I think I have a good chance. Not my preferred option, but shouldn't be too bad. Lots of carrying food but I don't have to rely on how busy we are and tips to make decent money. Also gonna get some more RAM put into my new laptop. I'm so excited I get to bring it with us on our vacation.

Sunday night we ended up over at the girl's house playing Killer Bunnies in Space. Was fun, there wasn't a huge fight. Then we watched Corpse Bride. I hadn't seen it yet, and it was good.

Yesterday I managed to clean the entire house, and then I got sick. Paul was sick all day, we think we picked it up from Jess. Now my entire body aches, I hate the feeling. I didn't get around to giving JP a bath or filling out job apps, hopefully I can do that tonight after volleyball.

I forgot to mention that they finally got the go-go dancers at Plan B. Boys were cute, though I think placement might be better on the dance floor, not next to the bar. I saw one random guy in the crowd that I know stripe down to his undies and dance for a bit. I assume he was just trying to get enough money for his next drink and figured since he was in black bikini briefs he might as well. Coolest thing was they had girl dancers too. Equal opportunity is awesome.

Wow, the head cold makes me very well spoken, huh?

Work is work. Have things to keep me busy. I might end up with help, not that I need it, but others might be out of work on their grades. Share the wealth.

Filling out those job apps is so trying. They just ask for too much stuff.

I've lost my place as top winner in Killer Bunnies, Jess has now surpassed me. Oh well, can't be good at everything, right?

Rainy day. Tired. Boring/brain-numbing work today too.

Vollyeball was OK. We played like crap, but I think there is some meshing problem with our team. Cause I played a match subbing on another team, and did well. And I saw other team members subbing and they did fine. So it's something about our line up. It rained off an on, enough to make it muddy and humid. Got to see Bob (my ex), he's moving to Florida today. Best of luck to him, he's had a few rough months lately.

We have a new bunny hole in our yard. Not sure if it's the same parents, but really, how stupid can you be and still survive? It's in the middle of the front yard this time. JP found it last night. That's always fun. Paul is going to spray for weeds today, so he'll have to figure out a way to get them to move before he sprays that area.

Softball, in theory tonight. Depends on how the fields are after the rain. Plans for killer bunnies after.

I had a weird dream where we had to take care of like 5 other pugs. We were fostering them for the human society or something. There was a black one and I was all ready to keep it but Paul didn't want to. Not sure why. I only mention this cause I never remember my dreams.

Softball was canceled last night due to "field conditions". So the girls, Paul and I went to TGI Fridays for dinner and then played some Killer Bunnies. Since we didn't get started until 9, we played a short game. It was fun, and I'm still the one whose won the most. They keep calling me the "quiet one in the corner."

Got to bed late due to some Star Trek. Tired today. Volleyball and dinner with Em tonight. It'd be cool if I can actually mow soon. Between tight schedules and rain, it's pretty long now.
