Wow, just wow.

My review of the Prophet of Panamindorah was just read on the latest podcast by the author. That is so cool! I know she'll read this post too, but I will just bask in a bit of squee for a bit here at work. I'm certain that nothing I've written before has ever been republished or, in this case, read before. So cool.

It pays to chat with and get to know the authors of the books I like, I guess.

In other news my ankle is really sore. I hurt it a bit on Sunday and it's just escalated at every sport since. I will try and take it easy the rest of the week so I'm healed by next Sunday. I think I need to invest in a second ankle brace, as this is the ankle that has been fine until now. We took two games from the 1st or 2nd place team (I'm not sure where they are in the standings) last night. Good games, played well, had fun.

Aw, shucks. I'm glad I made one of my listeners happy. :) Judging from my stats counter, only about 10% of the people who listen ever say anything to me. Consequently, I always find it difficult to convince myself that I'm talking to more than a few dozen people. Anyway, thanks for the review and for saying hi.

I'd bet that is pretty average. I've not seen stats for other podcasts, but unless the content is one that riles people up, feedback is probably pretty low. I'd think having a smaller audience, at least in your head, might make it easier to talk more naturally. If one's listeners counted in the millions, I'd be nervous.

Thanks for the podcast reqs, I subscribed to a few last night, so we'll see today if I like them too.
