This is where I bitch.

I pocket dialed 911 last night, and that lead to a call from a dispatcher and then an officer stopping by to check things out. Both were nice and understanding, I'm thinking it happens often enough. And my phone actually called 112, but I'm thinking maybe all 3 digital calls that aren't to another service just get routed to the police? I need a new phone I think. I might start using my iPhone again, we will see.

Yesterday was a lot, and I mean a lot, of excel training. We use it quiet often, since we deal mostly with databases in collection, so that is a useful skill. But it is long and kinda boring. Might have more of it today, depends on how meetings go.

I was told I need to post more to facebook, for my friends who don't use twitter or LJ. So I'm having twitter post over there as well. Though I'm going to have to mentally censor some, since there are very different groups in those places. I'll have to @ reply to myself once in a while, I think. (And now I know why some people do that.)

This week is gonna be busy. I'm going up to mom and dad's on Friday, so I have packing to do, plus I want to make some chutney to bring up so I can give it to my aunt and uncle for their birthdays. And I need to wrap mom's gifts.

And in two weekends (Halloween weekend), Paul's mom and sister are coming to visit. So we need to start cleaning the house to get ready for them.

October always gets busy like this.

Remey has begun to play with toys now, as opposed to just sitting next to one of us on the couch. Which I'm taking as a good sign. Maybe he'll start to play with JP soon (which was kinda the point). He seems to be doing well.

Worked for 5 some hours at Omnipress today. Nothing too exciting. I had planned to go home and clean the house for a bit until Paul got done with work. Then the mall called and asked me to close. So I napped with the puppy instead. Tomorrow I will try to clean.

I'm going to a Pampered Chef party tonight, dragging Lari with me. Hosted by Sarah from volleyball. Hopefully it'll be fun. Would have been nice to bring Paul, but he has school. And Em won't be there, she needs to pack for her trip to Ireland tomorrow. I'm hoping to get some whiskey when she gets back. :)

Volleyball was kinda boring last night, I think we need more competitive teams. But there is no way we can move up a level, we'd get hurt, I think.

Work is kinda stressful today. I keep getting surprise emails about problems I didn't know were mine to deal with. Not sure if it's just a bad day or what, it's not like we are under a tight deadline or something.

This cold is still kicking our asses, Paul more than me as usual.

JP has two new harnesses. A red and a yellow one. The old tan is pretty dirty, I'll need to wash it so we can use it for dog park days and such. I'll try and post pictures soon. Probably tweet them before here though, it's easier. I think I can then link to LJ...

Paul is doing well. More pain and swelling today than yesterday. Might get worse tomorrow, before it starts getting better. Procedure only took like half an hour for all 4 teeth.

Half Blood Prince was great. The pacing was done really well. Might go see it again.

And...

Man I am sore! Playing short stop is a lot of work. You have to run and field the ball. I miss being a pitcher. But this will give me more practice and I can broaden my skills. Paul seemed to have a good time, he had a few hits and got home once. Our coach isn't very good. She didn't have us introduce each other. She didn't give any one any advice while playing or encouragement. People kept asking me for suggestions and direction. Maybe next year I'll coach again. I think if I coach but don't hold a board position it will be OK.

Jess and Lari brought over their 3 bunnies to stay with us while their landlord is in their apartment fixing things (since they shouldn't have pets at all). So they are in the spare room.

I might get actual work today, which will be nice. Yesterday I was so bored I made a twitter account. I'm going to try and not double post between this, facebook and that.
