This is where I bitch.

Last night went well. Went to the Shamrock right after work to register people for softball. Got a bunch, a few new ones too. Then I was asked to sub in euchre. Bob was my partner and we did really well. The table was a lot of fun. Some nights a player or two will either be distracted and make the game go forever, or be really serious and take all the fun out of it. But there was a lot of teasing and fun at our table. A lot of it directed at me (the sub) for getting two loner hands. I did really well. Also got to know some softball girls better than before and hopefully one of them will sub for us tomorrow night at Pooley's. I'll call her when it's later, as she works nights.

Today I have a meeting on Park street, which I think will take the entire afternoon. So after that I have to get stuff done before playing tonight. Stuff like shopping and buying paint. Which brings me to announce I will be having a painting party Saturday. At the very least beer or wine. And probably order pizza or something. I just have to make sure I get the paint on Thursday.

It also looks like I won't be buying flowers for anyone for valentines day this year. Which is kinda sad. I usually get one rose for all of my single girl friends (last year was Kiki, Liz, Em and Wendy [Drew was over seas so it was close enough]). But Kiki and Liz will be in Ireland and Em will be in DC. So I guess I'll just live with sending cards to the family. Was gonna get Gina one too this year, but she'll be in Ireland with her sisters.

Well I kinda just frelled up. Not a big "OMG! World gonna end" way. But in a way that will make my life harder. I sent out the forms that the vendors need to fill out for what they want at the convention in their booths (i.e. power, chairs, etc.). Well the forms ask what booth number they will be in so the set up company can get it right. I forgot to include the booth number. Now they told me what number they wanted when they reserved. But most will have forgotten. :sigh:

In other news, no cleaning tonight, will sub at euchre. Probably drink too. This is OK, just be nice to clean. Oh well, next time. [[Translate that to in three weeks when I have a free night again--nice to be busy, I think. At least today I do.]]

We won 2 of three last night at volleyball. With the 2 wins from Tuesday, that's 10 out of 12 in the last two weeks. It's like we are working as a team again and on some sort of winning streak. I did hurt my hand a bit, hit the ball with just one side. Achy today, but will be fine by next Tuesday, I'm sure. Kiki hurt her foot pretty bad Tuesday night playing pick-up. Bad enough that she didn't play last night. Not broke though, so that is good.

After volleyball I went to see Bob as he's leaving for South Dakota today. Late night mostly spent with us trying to fix his wipper blades so he doesn't die on the trip. Tired today.

Got in early to work this morning due to miss planning. I think I can sleep a bit later when I stay on the West side.

Tonight is hopefully getting together with peoples for the holiday, though I haven't heard a firm yes from many. If all else fails, Ben is having a birthday party at the Sham and I can go there for a bit.

I forgot to mention that I took 5 place in the Euchre tournament this session. Out of like 25ish. In the top 10 and higher than Bob, which is what I was shooting for. Not sure if I'll play next session or take Monday's off and plan for gym time.

I keep forgetting today. I keep thinking ahead for the day, planning working out and volleyball and Project Runway, and then remembering that is Wednesday. Tonight is dinner at Edo's, volleyball and picking Em up at the airport. Not sure why I keep thinking it's Wednesday. Very odd.

Also, sore from "arms and chest" day yesterday. Ow. I'm sure it's all worth it, or something.

Interestingly enough, Bob and I were partners last night at Euchre (each week we randomly get new partners). Everyone thought that was amusing. We did pretty well. He got his highest score yet. Then I beat him in scrabble again. If nothing else, the scrabble interest will endure him to mom and grandma this weekend.

Still on the verge of being sick. I should so not be playing a double header softball game in the cold tonight.

Euchre was horrible last night. First game we won, second game I can blame my partner for lossing, last game we just had no luck on the deal. Oh well.

I suppose it's time to think about halloween costumes again... might go with the plan from last year I never got to do. Which means it's been a year almost since my Grandma died. Seems longer.

I officially have a boy friend. :happy sigh:

In other news, euchre last night was lots of fun. I'm looking forward to this league.
