This is where I bitch.

The wedding up in Green Bay for some of Paul's friends was a nice trip, expect for the part where I forgot to put our wedding clothes into the car. So Friday night at 8pm when we realized that we drive back to Madison to get them. The $20 in cash and extra 5 hours of driving was better than buying all new clothes. Some days I don't know why he puts up with me. But the wedding was nice, out side in beautiful weather on the river. We left JP with Jess and Lari, so I didn't have to deal with him. We made some new friends and he seemed to enjoy talking with college friends he hadn't seen in years.

I think I hurt my back at softball last night. My rib feels out, but it's expensive to go to the chiropractor, so I'll just deal with it. Hopefully it will pop back in place on it's own. To save gas I biked to work today. I'm so out of shape. But if I keep that up maybe I can fix that.

We've pretty much worked out the details for a trip to the Twin Cities to see Laura, Rob and Jack at the end of July. It will be the last chance to see them before they go to Saudi, so I hope it goes smoothly. We are staying with Roib's parents, who are great people and have dogs, so we can bring JP.

I am having more volleyball board drama, this might be the issue that makes me quit it. And I'm really not enjoying this season much. I'm not sure if it's cause I've been kinda busy and can't make all of the games, or if it's the people we play against, or what. It's my only volleyball outlet and it's not that fun. Sad day.

No plans for the 4th yet, maybe something will come up this week.

I dropped down to a basic LJ account, since people we complaining about the adds they see when they visit my posts. It was hard to pare down the icons, it really was.

My plan to bike in the afternoon has been stopped by the meeting this morning when we found out how far behind we are on the project. It's not doable. But it turns out I'm less behind than many others, which is good, relatively.

Oh well, who wants to be in shape anyway. If I did I should have picked a career with less desk time, no?

I actually rode my bike back to work after lunch. It's not too hot and muggy out today, so I decided to give it a try. It wasn't too bad, though that might be cause I decided to take the road over, instead of going to the biking/walking bridge. But it is a Sunday and traffic was light. I think I might try doing this more, i.e. drive to work, go home for lunch and then bike back. Still allows me to go home and walk JP and I get to bike. Now if I can just figure out how to do yoga, that doesn't rely on me getting up too early or staying up too late.

I'm a good worker. Only one here. There was one other guy here earlier, but now it's just me. Go team Jason.

It was very cold when we played last night at 9:30, but it wasn't raining like the earlier games. We won again, so we are 3-0. I also hit two more in field home runs, one of them bounced off an opposing player's head (which I felt bad about). So the season is going well, I think. After we went to the Sharock and Paul and Jess played Guitar Hero until 2am. Kinda tired today as a result.

I decided to walk to work today. Too nice to drive and I just didn't want to work as hard as biking would be. Takes me about 40 minutes to walk here, which isn't bad. I will decide later if I will walk home or have Paul pick me up. I have run out of work, so will have to go hunting soon. Sucks that out of everyone one on this project, I'm the only one who hasn't taken a day off during this deadline, yet I'm workless.

Tonight after volleyball Paul and I will go out for a bit with Jess, Lari and Lari's brother for his birthday. It's his 21st, but all his friends are away on internships.

No plans for the weekend yet, will play it by ear. We have also decided to go to Milwaukee and Chicago Pride this year. We will only go for Saturday to Milwaukee to see Wanda Sikes (I think that's the comedian) and maybe go out to eat for our anniversary. Hopefully I can met up with my cousin Jim in Chicago, as I haven't seen him in years.

I am out of shape, gah. I biked today, as the high is supposed to be 70 and it isn't supposed to rain till this evening. It was very windy, which just made it worse, but the real reason I had to walk my bike up the overpass is being out of shape. I dislike being sweaty at my desk too, but I will just get used to it. Have to try and put some kind of dent in my belly.

Softball last night was fun. We won again, I had one nice hit. My pitching was off again, but this time I was throwing everything short. I even walked one person home, not good. Then we went to the Shamrock 'cuase they now have Guitar Hero on the big screen. Which Jess and Paul played a lot of. We got home later than we wanted, and it made this morning a slow wake up.

The project I am working on is put on hold for a bit. The project I was supposed to pick up from exarian has been shuffled to someone else, cause I've been put on the project that B was moved to. I think the other two that are on hold would be more fun, but at least its work.

Volleyball tonight, and maybe I will clean something in the house, cause it needs it bad.

I have some work today, and more coming. I'm not sure how late I will stay, but makign up hours from the early days this week wouldbe nice. Our company is looking to hire more production people (in Madison). So I guess they are expecting the work to pick up, as they have been saying. (Sorry aunt Carol, they don't do freelancers, only in house people). I had wanted to get up earlier and bike to work, but going out last night and staying out till 1 put a stop to that.

Yesterday after getting out of work at noon I picked up the boy and we went out shoping. We found some boots for Leather & Lace and a pair of vianl pants that we will turn into shorts for Paul. I suggested that we add zippers to the shorts so the legs can be put back on for cooler days. Now we need someone to do that sewing. WHile Pual or I could, we have no sewing machine.

After bringing him to work I went home and took a bike ride. I found a fun loop that takes about an hour. It goes by work, so I stopped in and asked about how much work I'd have today. Then I went home and did the cleaning that I said I'd do lat night and never did.

Volleyball was meh. I didn't play well, kept hitting everything out of bounds. And I hit a 12 year old kid. She wasn't hurt, but still, not good. We headed to Club 5 for a few drinks, since the Shamrock is still closed, and geeked out with Robert and Dave's friend from Milwaukee, Mike. We all have treo phones and talked geek toys for a while.

Tonight after Paul closes at work I think we will try and go out again and start off the weekend with a Pride kick off party.

I feel a little bad that I didn't bike today. But it is so sticky/nasty out there that I would have had a very crappy time, I think. Plus I can work later now. Mostly excuses, but tomorrow should be cooler, so I should be able to bike then.

I'm not too worried about being delted dut to interests. I did just clear some out, but they are ones that I just am not interested in any more, like bands that are split up and stuff. Nothing from censorship presure.

I biked to work every day this week, go me. Next week is Madison's Bike to Work Week, so lets see if I can keep it up. The weather is supposed to be nice, so it depends on when I play each night, I guess.

Volleyball last night went well. We won two of three, and I guess we are now being moved up a league. I don't know if we are actually that good, since a few weeks into a season we begin to suck, but the bar needs a team to move up, and I guess we are one of the better ones in our current level. I will miss our ref, she's the best one there, IMO.

Not sure what I'll do tonight. I thought about gong out for dinner, but I think I will stay in and save money. Might start out at the Shamrock, then play it by ear. Not sure if I'll have to work this weekend, will have to find out later this afternoon.

I started listening to my goth/techno play list today, cause I was getting tired of the club mix one. Well, it's not that I'm tired of the music, just the stuff I have. Need to get more, I think. Cause I usually only listen to the goth/techno mix when I'm pissed, and work has been too good for me to feel that way.
