radlilimThanksgiving went well. We arrived in the Twin Cities at Paul's parent's house at about 10pm on Wednesday, JP was fairly well behaved on the ride there. We picked up a doggie hammock that hung from the back of the front seats to the head rests of the back seats, and he road ok there. We hung out with the Wallers for a few hours then checked into the hotel.
Thursday we went back to his parent's house at about 10am. Oakee, his mom, is a wonderful cook and spent most of the day cooking. JP was really well behaved all day, we're very proud of him. We played scrabble with his sister and father. We went for a walk. We watched movies. Had way too much food. We left at about 10pm and went bowling with his best friend from high school.
Sunday we hit the Mall of America for Black Friday sales with Paul's sister. I found a few things, he found some good deals on work pants. We stopped by my cousin Hilary's on the way back to Madison and saw her two boys, her husband and my aunt. JP played with their basset hound and was very gentle with their baby.
We got back around 8 and then went out to the Wyman's for a bonfire. It was nice to hang out there and visit, though Ben didn't show up, which was kinda the point of the get together. Now Paul is sleeping in and has big XBox plans while I'm working at the mall. Probably do christmas cards and/or decorate tonight.
