May. 30th, 2006 08:25 amOne of ouur customers that actually has typesetting knowledge and cares about quality (yo'd be amazed at how rare that is these days) is to have all of their work done in Madison. Because of how badly a few projects were on in India, they demanded it. Well one book slipped though and went to India anyway (no ones fault, just everyone too busy). The project is with one of the really picky project managers at the customer and he ripped it apart. I quote, "The only pages set correctly are the half title page and the blanks." So on Thurday/Friday I redid them, starting from scratch. They came back today with very minor corrections and a note saying we don't need to send them back. Which is a ringing endoursement from this guy. I am the man.
I tried out the getting up early and doing yoga thing this morning. I think it's a good idea. Though I need to get a different DVD. The ones I have are too fast paced and strenuous. I need a more relaxed set, like what I get at Olbrich Gardens. I can buy that tonight with the lawn mower (and yeah for roommate mowing the lawn this weekend, he roqs). And here I was trying to save money...
