Well, my laptop is not turning on anymore. I should have noticed that it had been a long time since something expensive and important to me had broke. Hopefully I can get it to Shawn this weekend so we will have it to bring to the Twin Cities with us next week. I was planning on doing the redesign of my website. So much for that idea.

I really want to know what I did to throw my karma off so much. Pretty depressed today, not surprisingly. Seems no matter what we do, things just get worse. What is the point of trying so hard at life if nothing pays off?

It's quarter to eight and I want a stiff drink.

I got lucky--my laptop's problem seems to be mostly malware. An hour plus running a scan on it and while it's still stupidly slow at least it isn't outright freezing anymore.

Go have that drink. And then throw out hard work and start considering guile and treachery. ;)
