radlilimIt was a long weekend filled with working and chilling at home. Not much to talk about, really. I got a lot of the house cleaned. Last night was fun, Paul and I went to the Dells and met up with my aunt and two cousins that I rarely see, as they live in Ashland, Oregon. They are visiting for a few days and the two boys (15 & 10) get a bit bored up north at grandma's house. Nice to see them, might go back tonight if things work out.
Otherwise just stressing about life. Did I mention we are now down to 4 days a week of work? Yep they added an extra unpaid day per pay period. Life just continues to please.
I finished Lost Gods by Drew Beatty. It was good. A lot of it was influenced heavily by Niel Gaimen's American Gods (which I'm rereading now), but there was enough new ideas to keep it interesting. Not sure if he could publish it, but good story none the less. If you like the idea of forgotten gods wondering around among us. Rating: B
