I don't actually mind working over time on the weekends. But when I had plans for Saturday to be a day of nothing just vegging on the couch with my BF, it's hard to show a happy face. And this time it is all easy work, almost too mindless as I was nodding off yesterday afternoon. Back again today. India is asking for us to get way too much done, so we are gonna do what we can. Most of the work is opening file (takes 5 min), see if there are corrections from the client (90% of the time = no), close file (another 5 min). Hard to keep eyes open on that.
Still enjoying Pandora on the iphone. I'd vote for less repeats on the channel I'm listening too, but maybe the genre I've got is too small, or something.
I finished Swordspoint by Ellen Kushner. I really liked it (this was an actual book, like with paper and everything). It's a good take on a medieval society, and the masks and lies everyone uses and accepts to keep up appearances. And it gives a believable amount of hidden gay lives of the aristocracy. It has a good ending, which is key in a story, IMO. And had a few twists that I didn't foresee. All in all, I recommend it. The copy I have has a few short stories that feature the main characters also, which were good. I liked the "end of the life" story a lot. I'm gonna have to look for the sequel that takes place like 60 years longer.
Grade: -A
