So, the fun and exicting thing that happened on Friday was.... half of Impressions will not be hired by the new owners when they take control later this week. I get to be one of the luck 31 who will be kept. It was very crappy seeing all my friends fired. On a slightly better note, they might send me to India to trian their other companies. I feel kinda bad about helping with the outsourcing and leaving people, who are my firneds, without jobs. But the travel will be nice.

On happier news, the weekend up north went really well.

Like I was telling B last night: how the hell did a firm in India zero in on such a small business like Impressions? Eek... The travel does sound like it might be fun, but canning half the staff? Grrr...

When are you going to let the rest of your relatives know that you came out, because I ran upon this site through the "bison" web page and was interrested to see your home page. Then I come to find out that you have been gay for awhile. Why did you hide that from your relatives???

I figure that the news will travel though the grape vine as it needs to. While I can pick my friends and am comfortable with telling them (because if they don't accept it, they aren't good friends), I am stuck with my family. I was also not sure how the news would be taken.

Jason...why would you say that you are stuck with your family??? You are cared about , but that comment makes me wonder how you feel about us. Have you told grandma yet??? Or do you not want her to know??? I will not be the one to tell her. It you are truely comfortable with your lifestyle, I think that you should be the one to let her know. Oh yeah...this is Erin.

See, our generation, it might be OK. Put our parents? Mom and Dad aren't handling it very well. I can't really guess at the rest of my uncles and aunts. And my grandmas? Why worry them? Oh, I'm actually bisexual, and my current interest is a girl. So why worry people if it might not be an issue? *shrug* I'm happy that you are cool with it. But I'd even worry about Eric and such.

Jason, of course I am still going to be cool towards you. I am glad that you arn't going to tell grandma, because I don't know how she'd handle it. What do you mean that it might not be an issue??? Oh, how did Laura handle it? i know that it must've been hard, but when did this all come about??? When did you tell your mom and dad?

Well if I end up with a girl, then it doesn't have to be worried about. And she was quiet about it, hasn't been brought up since. I got a boyfriend so I thought that'd be a time when it should be brought up. And like a few months ago.
