radlilimPaul's Birthday Extravaganza weekend went well, I think. He even said as much last night.
Friday we went to L'Etoile (I must spell that differently every time) for dinner. It was really good. The table next to us had a wedding proposal. Then we went out for a few drinks at the Shamrock.
Saturday he went out golfing with Jess and I bought food for the party and then Lari came over to help decorate. He liked the Wiifit I got him, along with WiiSki (goes with the balance board) and the "My other Boyfriend is a Pug" T-shirt. People came over, I'd say 10 max, and chatted, ate, and drank. We played a new board game of Lari's called Smart Ass. Good party game, everyone seemed to have a good time.
Sunday we drove to Illinois and went to Six Flags Great America. Went on a lot of rides, played carny games (I couldn't win Paul anything) ate fair food. I think I liked Dark Knight the best, but mostly cause I don't like rides where you go upside down. We had dinner down there and then got home. Felt bad though, since the puppy was locked up all day in the house. He seemed desperately happy to see us.
Tired today, and still have an entire house to clean up from the party tonight. But Paul had a good time, so that's what is important.
