Yesterday I finished the first book from the Wheel of Time series. It's deffinently easier to listen to it than read it. And it was OK. But mostly I was just confused by all of the new things we met along the way. But I guess that is what one gets in a world building book. Starting book 2 now, [livejournal.com profile] exarian says that book 2 is better.

She is off on vacation now, so I am in charge of her project. Time for me to drive it into the ground and create a mess so big she'll never crawl back out of it. Just Kiding. But this does mean I might have enough work to keep me busy. Have some time to make up today, as lunch yesteday ran long.

Started the new season at Pooley's last night. Al subbed, which brought the level of our team up a few notches. But we played well anyway. It was sooooo hot and humid in there. I don't remember sweating that much all summer. Just drenched in sweat after 10 minutes. We have a new girl on the team this sesaon, and she seems a good player. Friendly too, I'm not sure how chatty I'd be showing up and not knowing anyone on my team.

Stayed up really late last night haning out with Jess and Larry. I had a good time, even if we did play Cranium. But I only had to do and acting round once, Paul was nice enough to take the others. We learned once again I am crap at guessing songs from someone humming. I dozed on the couch till 2am, when we went home. Had trouble falling asleep after getting home and am now tired. I hope I can make up the sleep tonight.

Weekend plans are still up in the air. Either end of the year volleyball picnic/tournament or softball team camping party. Will need to decide soon so I don't leave hosts wondering.
