Over an hour of "Why Quark 7 is better than InDesign" web demo. They still don't support XML, except by a plug-in. A useless plug-in, cause I've seen it in use. Plus the entire time the presenter sounded very snotty about InDesign. The amusing part was where Quark crashed and she had to hard restart in the presentation to get it to restart.

Last night's Runway was crappy. We are seriously thinking about not watching next season. Dinner went really well. Wendy stopped by to say hi, which was nice. I'm gonna really miss her. :(

Off north today at 3ish. I'm a bit worried.

My supervisor got back from a trade show in Chicago yesterday. He mentioned that we'd need to upgrade our Pitstop licenses and... upgrade to Quark 7. Damn. Both he and I were hoping we could leave it at Quark 6. One of my coworkers was having a hard time with a Quark file that had a PDF imported into it. It was printing out all jaggy and lo-res. I wanted to say something, but my other co-worker (our resident Defender of The Quark) would have bitten my head off. Remember kids, InDesign is just like PageMaker!
