The funeral service was at 2pm on Friday, and both jobs were willing to give me the time off, even on short notice. So I drove up north Friday morning, saw some family and friends, went to the service and then drove back. Dorothy was taking it pretty hard, and her youngest grandson was having shoulder surgery the same day from a ironman training accident. Rough day for their family. I'm glad I was able to go.

Saturday I worked at the mall and then hung out with my aunt Carol and Sue for a bit, before Paul and I went to go help out with Blades Against AIDs. I didn't skate, since I don't like to--hurts my ankles, but I chatted with friends while Paul skated. I talked with one of the pride chairs and volunteered my services to help make the event booklet for next year. We also had to drive half way to Milwaukee and pick up Jess since her truck died on the way home. Paul being a good friend has been getting up really early everyday to drive her to work.

Sunday was working at the mall and house chores and then volleyball.

This week Laura, Rob and Jack are coming, plus I'm having my birthday party. And the bathroom sink is stuck shut and we have to get that fixed. Keith is coming over tonight after work and hopefully we can figure it out.
