(no subject)

When I got home from work last night Paul asked me to watch JP, he seemed to be limping a bit. There was some limping, but not a lot, so I figured he'd hit his foot on one of his crazy runs and it's no big deal. But when Paul came to bed at 2am JP was laying funny, with one leg stuck out so no pressure was on it and when I tried to take off his shirt his whimpered in pain. The staff at the 24hour vet were very nice and the X-ray didn't show anything broken. So we gave him some pain meds, it's probably just a sprain from jumping off the bed and landing wrong. Still, we didn't get to bed until 4am. So I'm sleepy after only 3 hours of sleep.

Also forgot my coffee mug and headphones at home this morning in my wake up haze. Not a good day.

Project progresses, other people are more confident than I on getting it done on time. We will see.

I might take a day off after this project is over and relax for a day. I'm pretty sure I need it.

Compared to the vendors that are doing the other grades for my project, we only have grade 4, we are the furthest behind. So we (mostly me, since I'm the lead) look like shit. And I am doing my best. This is one of those days where I really, really want a career change. A day where I feel my life has been pretty pointless so far.

Today I hate my job.

I'm so tired I want to just quit. If I knew I could get a new job, one that'd pay the bills for a while, I think I would. But I like to eat and am kinda attached to my house. And I doubt Paul and JP want to live out of our cars.
