Volleyball last night was fun. Last night of the summer session and we got to play the number one team. We won a game out of the match, which was nice. We actually played fairly well. We are also fairly good friends with that team, which always makes the games better. Emily and I then hung out, chatted, and played pick up games till about 9:30. Was a nice night, even though I did jam my thumb.

The desk for the new office arrived yesterday too, which Paul put together last night. It will be nice to have a place to put paperwork that isn't the bed side table or the kitchen table.

Working the mall tonight, than probably off to the gym, as we haven't gone yet this week.

My morning at work are now an hour or so of answering questions from India about my project. I had forgotten this part of that type of work flow.

Feeling blah today. Worn out as usual. I got an email this morning for a fic/art community that I've done art for in the past. It's Heroes fiction and last time I did a piece for a Heroes/Supernatural cross over. They were looking for more artists since they had more stories than people making art. I was honored and got kinda excited. So I went and signed up, only to find that all of the stories are now taken. Now I feel let down. The thought of being creative and artistic again was uplifting. It's been a while since I really did any art and I'm sure my skills are turning to crap. They say there might be another round of stories, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. Life just seems a long string of things I don't want to do. Sports is like the highlight these days and enjoying that is so dependent on how well I do (still too competitive for my own damn good).

All the stress is piling up again. No real sign of a break either.

Due to a recent insurance change at work I have now picked a new eye doctor and dentist and made appointments. Very annoying that I had to switch. I really liked the woman that cleaned my teeth, she never hurt my mouth. But I was able to accomplish that while making PDFs. Work has been pretty boring today, either answering question to India or the client about the new project, or making printer PDFs for the project that is warping up.

Finally saw the last episode of Dr. Horrible's Sing a long blog. Creepyish ending. Or at least unexpected. Good though. I missed it when it was free on the website and was afraid I'd have to buy it on iTunes. But it's on hulu.com now, so w00t.

Just a posting fool today...

Finally got all the way though season one of the new Dr. Who. Liked it. Not quiet as much as Torchwood, but it seemed to be mostly a character building season. And setting the scene for the universe and such.

Will start on next season as soon as I have time. Maybe I can watch it all before season 3 of Torchwood starts and thus be able to see the Who episodes that have the Torchwood cast in them.
