radlilim: (gay Softball)
Last night was kinda rushed, in general. I worked a bit of over time so I can take off early tomorrow and work at the mall. Then I walked home, which was nice for getting rid of the stress from the day. My friend Pat was take me to softball, as Paul had a late meeting. At 7:40 he stops by and lets me know we have to run to the hardware store, pick up some plywood and drop it off at his house where his partner Keith was working on their deck. So we got to my game about 5 minutes before we started. Thus I was feeling all rushed and stressed, so I managed to walk in two runs the first inning. I settled down after that and hit another in the park home run. I think that is the fith for the season. Don't know whats up with that, but not going to question it too much. We ended up loosing 5 to 11 though. We hung around to watch Jess play and the mosquitoes got even worse than during my game. Jess and Lari came over to our place afterwards and played Rock Band for a while. I'm actually getting better at the guitar, though I prefer to play bass. I went to bed at 1:00 and Jess and lari stady over in our guest bed.

Kinda tired today. Have to go home at lunch to pick Paul up and bring him to work. Than I hope to mow the lawn before I have to pick him up at 7:15 and still make my 8:00 game tonight. I kinda hope that this weekend in Chicago is restful as well as fun.

EDIT: Also, spilled coffee on the way to work in the car, now my leg is wet. gross

Every time I hear Pocket Full Of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield I remember the butterfly release at Felicia's memorial service. Paul mentioned its the same for him. While this could be sad/bittersweet, I remember her fondly. I also remember all of the people that were there for the service. Makes me remember the great community we have here in Madison.

I should get it on my iPod.
