Feb. 12th, 2006 08:20 pmI'm in a bit of a pickel. So, I am taking Friday off from Apex to close on my house. Then I'm taking Monday through Wednesday while I'm in Florida. Now, that means I'm working on next Thursday, at Apex, and porbably both jobs on Friday. But I'd like to leave early on Friday so I can drive home and make my aunts birthday party at my parents house that night. My uncle is bringing king crab legs and my cousin might drive up with me since she's going to school here. It would be silly for us to drive seperately becuase I have to work late.
So I can hope that I don't have to work at the Hilton Friday morning... or I can try and skip out of Apex. That would be a full week off.
Guess I'll ask Russell tomorrow, see what the boss says.
On other news, everything is pretty much set for the house closing. Except I wanted to go with my realitor to check out the work on the electrical Wednesday night. He's going at 9pm (works too late, IMO) and if I had my game that night at ANY time besides 9:15, it'd be perfect. I think I will check with Kiki to see if I can be a little late. That way if Michael will be there around 9ish, I can make it, but it will be tight.
I guess having these small snags in the process is better than everthing going smoothly until some big blow up at the end.
