I just found another reason to not be happy Valentines day is almost here. Besides being without a snuggle-buddy, this will be the first year I don't send a card to grandma. I am the good grandson (her words, not mine), I always sent a card and usually called on the lesser-important holidays; Mother's day, Valentines day, etc. And now I can't.

It still amazes me how I can be suddenly and painfully reminded that she's gone.

I only work one day this weekend. Which means I will have tons of time to pack and do my taxes. I am cool with this, cause while the money is nice, haveing a break is nice too.

Granted this means that I'm makeing like no money at the Hilton this month. Between two days off this weekend, one off next weekend and two off the following one, I will have no hours at all.

Oh well, in March life will go back to normal pace and I can get back into it.

I can *gasp* do something Friday night now.

Just finsihed Lord John and the Private Matter by Diana Gabaldon. I'm going to have to buy this book. It was well written, as most of her sutff is, and I like this character better. Gave an interesting look at the sodomite society of historical London.

I need to reread the Outlander book where John Grey first shows up, because how he is written in this novel and the last one I read is nothing near what I remember from that book.

Not sure what book is up next on my pile, I think it's The Ugly Stepsister.

I'm thinking there might be something actually wrong with my shoulder. People have said things about them hurting their rotator cuff. And it hurt when I rotate my arm. I think I will go in and see someone tomorrow.

These same people tend to "take time off" of sports when this happens. That would so suck. I'm not sure what I'd do if I couldn't play. Get fat and be bored, I'd bet.
