I just found another reason to not be happy Valentines day is almost here. Besides being without a snuggle-buddy, this will be the first year I don't send a card to grandma. I am the good grandson (her words, not mine), I always sent a card and usually called on the lesser-important holidays; Mother's day, Valentines day, etc. And now I can't.

It still amazes me how I can be suddenly and painfully reminded that she's gone.
