So I felt kinda guilty at the Hilton today. This really old guy comes up to me, asks for a sticky bun and some coffee. Then he wants to sit down and get orange juice also. So I do this, seat him, get him his stuff and tell Shannon that I've got this guy settled, so if she wants to put a server on him, cool (as the barista guy I don't do tables). She says that I can just handle it, which I'm cool with. I give him his bill and he asks how much it is. I tell him ($7.50ish) and then he pulls out a $5 and asks me what this bill is. I tell him, figuring out he must be farily blind. He switches to a $20 (which I had to tell him what it was) and I take it up and then bring him his change. When he leaves I clean the table and all the change is still there. I get all worried, I mean who leaves a $12 tip on a $7 bill? I look around for him to check if he made a mistake and can't find him. So I felt guilty, cause I don't think he realized that it was there.

Oh well, I'll buy a drink on him tonight and toast the old guy. And since I don't have to work tomorrow night, I can actually go out. w00t!

As long as I don't crash as per usuall on Fridays...
