Sep. 2nd, 2010 08:38 amI cannot for the life of me make a character for an original game. Maybe I should just stop and focus on D&D games. Character gen there is easy and as long as it's in the books, it's an approved concept. I read the premise of original games, my mind gets 3 or 4 ideas, and they are just no where near the world that's been set up. Very frustrating.
Plus the latest D&D game is starting to annoy me. We are going through character generation for it too, and it is so involved--it's been like 2 weeks. It's the GM's custom set up, and there are so many tables and charts I feel I'm in GRUPs. Again, custom/original idea /= jason. I don't want to quit it though, as I like the people on that forum and am in 2 other games, so keeping everyone liking me is important.
I'm feeling kinda lost in the In Nomine game too. I think I'll start letting my angle's Word shine through and be more spontaneous and confrontational, just to get people to do stuff.
I hate it when my hobbies become unfun. I probably should think on all of that, as my mood is probably affecting my thinking.
I finally officially quit as a board member for the gay volleyball league. All I have to do is hand over the passwords and get my name off of all the stupid email lists. Getting answers from those gays is like herding cats.
Not much to do at work today yet, I'm hoping for something to come to me soon. I have a 6am Skype date with Laura and Jack tomorrow morning. Looking forward to that for sure.
