radlilimYesterday I was done at 5:30 and I didn't have to come back! It was awesome.
Today looks busy, probably will have to work late. The client's editors are making a big push to get the last pages to us so that we can turn them around today, then they can review them tomorrow and thus not work the weekend. Sounds good to me, most things will be done before I go on vacation then.
I'm kinda liking this freelance artist/illustrator bit. I am going to try and revamp the web site and put my name out there and try and get more freelance work. Probably end up doing some volunteer work as advertising. I'll have to be careful tax wise, but I highly doubt I'll get that busy.
I'm also trying to figure out what to do with my hair. I've had the same cut for a long time now, and while Mitch always says "and if you want to be fun, we can still spike it up," I just never do that. I don't know, feeling too old for the spiky pho-hawk maybe? I think I'm gonna try and grow it out a bit and then do a side part with bangs. Looks good on the lead singer from Vampire Weekend and Chris Coffer (Kurt from Glee). Maybe it'll transfer to me.
