Via Wil Wheaton on his blog:
"We walked up to the register, where we both noticed one of those CD kiosks was playing fairly loud Christmas music.
Anne looked at the girl who was ringing us up and said, "Does that Christmas music drive you crazy?"
The girl looked up slowly and deadpanned, "I just tune it out ... until someone calls attention to it.""
I totally want to do this at the mall when people come in and ask if the clock chiming bothers us. Or those stupid clocks in front of the store that have the moving parts when people push the buttons. And boy do they push them. We have regular families that come by just to push the buttons on those clocks.
Volleyball was fun last night, got hurt a lot though. People kept running into me. Also I shoved a metal spike though my finger at the mall yesterday. Seem OK now, but I was a bit worried about it getting infected, those interments are covered in dirt and grease, cause watches are nasty (especially those worn by people who use hand cream).
