Oct. 7th, 2009 01:50 pmWork is on the tedious side these days. Yesterday I spent the day processing PDFs on 3 different machines. I got a fair amount or exercise making the circuit around the production floor checking each machine, keeping the files lined up in the queue and figuring out why some files caused crashes. Today is more of the same, plus I get to page through over 1,000 pages, look for bullets that need to be switched to a small icon instead, fix that and make new PDFs of those pages. Fun, fun.
To keep my mind from atrophying, I'm listening to New World Orders by Edward G. Talbot. I usually like more sci-fi, fantasy and/or horror in my stories, but Illuminati-esq conspiracy tales are cool too. Good pacing and sound, good reading and voices, I recommend it, if you are into that kind of story.
