Jan. 13th, 2010 07:54 amVisiting the twin cities last weekend was good. Lost of driving and taking care of JP in weather that cold takes a lot of work. But we spent time with Paul's family. I saw my aunt's family, who we stayed with, and Laura/Rob/Jack too. He's walking with help, i.e. leaning on things.
Wish I had more days off. Wish I'd had fewer days off cause now work is getting away from me.
I also have been considering setting up a new year's resolution check list. Paul's doing it and each day he dose one of his resolutions, he gets a star on his check list. A bit grade school, but I do believe that those blank spots where the stars didn't make would be a good motivator. His is set daily, but I don't think I'd do that. I'm too busy with work. But I might make one with a weekly list, vowing to go to the gym at least once a week, do yoga (prob at home) at least once a week and spend at least 1 hour a week doing art/drawing. The problem with resolutions is I feel I'm just setting myself up to fail on them, which is why I don't do them normally. But this time I might give it a try.
