This is where I bitch.

The night went well. I made the Shamrock by 8ish, saw a bunch of people I know, and a few that I hadn't seen in a while. Met up with Jason. We chatted a bit, but he was with other friends too, so not all night. I thought the talk was a bit forced, but still OK. What surprised me is he texted me when he got home, saying he hoped I got home OK. That seems kinda "interested" to me. Maybe I'm overreading, but I can hope. Next step is to see if he wants to get dinner or something.

I'm really not sure how I feel about possibly dating a guy with the same name as me. Mitch says that yelling your own name out in passion is "hot." I'm not convienced. But I'm not going to stop a possible relationship because of his name. That'd be silly.

Here's hoping. I'm not too drunk tonight, which is rather good for me for tw-for-one martini night. Bed soon, sleep in. Might try and call/text Jason tomorrow.

Worked eleven and a half hours yesterday. I was really burned out by the time I left for volleyball (at 10.5 hours), but was better when I got back and was happy to hit my deadline. Shows that I have commitment to finishing projects, I hope. Got out of work at 10 and went home to ice my knees. I think it's the sand volleyball that is really hurint them. I'm going to talk to my doctor and see what I should do, maybe more stretching.

Volleyball went OK last night. Blake Thomas is now on our team and he did a lot better than I expected. We were supposed to have a double header, as there are 5 teams, but our first opponent didn't show up, we assume cause Pooley's didn't call them. SO we played pick up with Al and Lin's team. Then we played the last game, and we won easily. So out of the 5 teams, we expect to take 3rd. Al's team is power, and the team they played is a power team also, so we expect to lose most of the games against them. If we are having a good night I think we can give them a challenge though. The team we played was really rough, so we should beat them most of the time, unless we beat our sleves. And irvingmike remembers the last team and says we were beating them three years ago. So, third place is our guess.

Out for Bob's birthday tonight after work. And if I get out of here on time, I'll go and watch the Menance play softball. Also the Jason that I played with on Sunday (and then left our team) said he will try and come out for a drink tonight with me, which probably has a big impact on why my mood is so high.

Tomorrow exarian and I go to Milwaukee for an InDesign conference all day, and get paid for it. Should be lots of fun, I hope.
