Last night was good. Left work a bit after 5, and we were the first to arrive at Le tolie around 6. The dinner was $85 a person, but it was five courses and six glasses of wine (of which you could get refills if requested). The wine was really good, the food was awesome, and the guy giving the speeches about the Rhone Valley in France and the wines that come out of there was informed and funny at times, but not long winded. We chatted with the people sitting next to us at the table and talked between ourselves of future vacations.

Then we went home and fell asleep at 10. And slept till 6:30, when Paul woke up and noticed that my alarm hadn't gone off. The idiot I am, I forgot to turn it on. So got in later than I wanted, but it should be OK. The goal for today is to get everything off my desk before I leave. If I have time, there is possible game night at Jess and Lari's.

Friday after work I'm gonna go to the Brink and see the Holiday Lounge show I've gone to with Kiki for the past 3 or 4 years. Hopefully I can see Em this weekend too. Work should be light this weekend, as the entire thing needs to ship Friday and I won't have much to do until the customer sends it back.

Right now however I have a bad case of hives. Not itchy, just red spots all over my chest and back, my entire face is puffs and red and my tattoo is puffy and raised. Very annoying. Not worried yet, probably some reaction to something I ate last night. Paul thinks it could be drinking wine while on antibiotics, which is a good option too.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] anothersuperboy for the holiday gift!

Also, the last of the holiday cards went out. No time to draw porn this year. Very sad. :(

The Melting Pot last night was good. Dinner took four hours and service was kinda slow, but I think it was either our waiter was bad or was stuck somewhere else a lot, cause other tables had speedier service. We had four courses, cheese fondue, salads, meet/veggie fondue and then chocolate fondue. With the extra desert we decided we needed and the 3 bottles of wine it was about $240. Split up among the four of us that's like $60 a person, which is pretty good price, actually. The wine was really nicely priced, barely any mark up (my boyfriend knows lots about wine). We had the half off coupon, so it was easily affordable. The experience was good and I think I'll go back with Mom and Grandma next time they are down.
