radlilimUgh, tired.
It's not that I went to bed late, or had to get up early. It's we had a plan and then the bank called Paul letting him know that they messed up and didn't have enough people working to open the branch on time. So he had to jump out of bed and rush around getting ready. I had to skip breakfast to take him in. So our morning schedule was just messed up. Too early for a change of plans. And then everyone on the road was an idiot, including a cement truck, and that's just not safe.
Project had a minor blow up yesterday, as they tend to do. I had gotten an entire grade done and uploaded to the client's server for them to review. They came back with a list of 5 global changes that were not in the intial directions, including one that will take a ton of time to fix. They told us we had 24 hours to fix this to stay on schedule. But the really complicated change, the one where I have to split up every file I have for this project into individual files, each with only one spread in it--they didn't tell us how to adapt the naming structure. So while I am supposed to have all this done by 1:00, they still haven't told us how to name them, and if I were to guess at a naming structure, upload them, and be told I was wrong, we'd be screwed. Cause once I upload the file to their server, I can't delete it. Yeah, really stupid system.
So I wait and eat microwave oatmeal...
EDIT: and now I just found out that a) what I did yesterday was actually for another project and I have to undo it and b) that someone at the customer is messing with my files before it is their turn, which is a big BIG no-no
