radlilimYesterday was very productive. I deep cleaned the kitchen, did laundry, played volleyball with the boys for 3 hours and go the window valence boxes aplostured. Volleyball was fun, too many mosquitos though. I need to add some decorative roping and hang the valnce boxes and that will be done.
I'm planning on having a birthday party at my house this year for my birthday, instead of going out. That way I can show off my living room. Details to come, most likely I'll have beer, alcohol and food. Low key, since this will be right after we get back form New York.
The complications from the wallet incident continue. I reported my debit card lost, froze that checking account and opened up a new checkign account. So on Saturday two new debit cards arrived. One for the old, forzen account and one for the new one. Of course I had no idea which was which, so I had to figure that out today. I'm not upset about it, just amused at the trouble that has come up from losing a few pieces of flat plastic...
Nothing to do at work right now. Hopefully some more people will show up and I can ask for work. Maybe I'll take a long lunch to visit with Paul, if he wants me too.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I made a MySpace account this weekend too. Mostly becuase a lot of my friends seem to have them and that's where they put a lot of their picutres of events I attend. Anyway I did the thing where you conect to your school (for some reason couldn't get it to find my college) and randomly found a girl that was a year younger than me in grade school and high school. I'm pretty sure we even dated briefliy in like 6th grade or something. She apparently is living in the twin cities and is a lesbian. I'm really surprised that I didn't see her at the softball tournament on Memorial Day weekend there. But it was nice to talk to her, will email her again soon. Just got me thinking that if one uses that 10% rule, about 35 people from my high school are gay. Makes me wonder who else is in that list. Now she wasn't a surprise at all, but I bet some others would be.
