Dec. 27th, 2006 11:16 amThere was a problem with a project at work that I had nothing to do with excpet sending off to the printer and then archiving. I caugth the problem, informed the boss, then talked with the customer it affected, reached a solution, implemented it and the item will still make the mailing date. I actually might be good at this job.
Most of my work these days is figuring out what I should be doing, organizing it in a way that I understand and then asking stupid questions. There hasn't been much training on my position but everyone is pleasant about the stupid queries. Today I will learn how to answer phones, which should fill up a chunk of time each day.
Edit: Apparently there is talk of getting a high quality color printer/copier in the office, so I wouldn't have to use as many printers. Which is bad for printers, and I'd like to develop the skills and contact that working with them would provide, but it would be convenient. Except fo the breaking down part that happens.
