One of my clients is having a conference in Madison, so me and a few co-workers (all who work on parts of their product) met them downtown at the Great Dane. It was nice putting faces to voices/names. Some people did not look anything like I expected, some were dead on. We got to know each other a bit and talked about future work they will give us. Sold a few products, advised on others. It was fun. We are going to their big conference awards dinner tonight at their hotel. Here is at least on perk of the new job. I get to work on my networking and small talk skills.
