radlilimBy 2:30 today I still hadn't heard from Quad, so I bit the bullet and called, hoping that I wasn't being pushy or that I'd get bad news. Turns out they were planning on calling me yet today. They have more interviews to do, it seems, and it might take them a week, or two, or three until they have a decision. So my feeling that they didn't have many candidates was totally wrong. But I'm still in the running, which at least isn't bad news. Job hunting is so stressful. I'm super tired today, and it's hard to stay positive.
I had my 80 day probationary review today at the post office. I am not sure I even knew that there was an 80 probationary period. But I got almost all outstandings, with a few satisfactories (I feel like I'm in Hogwarts). This doesn't actually mean anything. I'm not getting more money or anything. And if I had done "bad" I doubt they'd get rid of me. But it's nice to have it on paper that I'm a good worker. Should mean I can get a good reference if I need one.
In theory there is D&D this weekend, so I hope that will be fun and non-stressful. We all might have to relearn how to play and I have to double check where we are in the adventure. I might just tell everyone that we all have to have fun, weather they want to or not. The only free time we have is when we schedule it, and it needs to count.
