radlilim: (SN Touched by an Angel)

I have some OT built up this week, not much, but it means I can leave a bit early today. But then I have to head off to the mall for a shift there. I'm hoping to find the first episode of Glee somewhere to watch tonight, probably hulu.com.

In October Laura, Jack and Rob will be coming to visit. Rob is running a marathon in Indianapolis, so they will stay a night on the way down and then again on the way back to the Twin Cities, to break up the long drive for Jack. But it means I get to see them soon. Very excited.

I'm enjoying Brisinger, Chris Paolini's newest book in the Eragon series. It seems a lot more thought out. Basically a story about the consequences of one's actions, especially those with power. I'm sure there's some social commentary there. I'd hate to over think everything like Eragon dose.

I watched Vampire Diaries last night. Not bad. Not Twilight, like they promised. Lots of fog machine, but at least they joked about it. Like I said, both main male characters are cute, and per good CW fashion, we see skin next week already. One thing about that network, they like to use the pretty boys. I think I'll try and watch it next week too.

I liked the start of the new season of Supernatural. I'm happy Cass is back, kick ass renegade angels who really aren't renegade are cool ("I burned it into your ribs."). Nice twist with Bobby, he needs to get one of those anti-possession tattoos. It will be interesting to see if they do any monster of the week episodes or if they just stick to the War the entire time. And using the fandom again was awesome ("Can you stop touching me?" "No, no I can't" *grin*)
