Weekend

Well, before anyone asks, I was a coward this weekend. Couldn't bring myself to bring up the topic of my bisexuality. Only my uncle saw the tattoo and he didn't say anything. So, someday soon I might get a call from mom or dad asking why I didn't say anything about it and what it means.

I think I will just wait for the issue to arise and deal with it there. I almost started to talk to mom and dad about it a bunch of times. COuldn't do it, sigh, I am a coward.

On more mundane matters, we ripped up a carpet and cleaned out my room. I now have 5 bags of book sto sell off. Wouldn't be a weekend home without back breaking work.

I got no beef with cowardice. My FIL a couple-three months back, talking with my husband on the phone, asked when he'd be done with his Ph.D, and then airily informed him that he could "start a family" then.

Um. If by that you mean "have children," SO not happening. I decided that one in the day-surgery ward two months before my wedding, thanks.

Husband was like, "I'll tell him -- but I want to choose my time." Which is fair enough, I think.

Its 3 chiense characters down my spin that say "bisexual" I could lie to them about what it says, but I'd rather not.

Oh, cool - does anyone from your family know what the signs mean? And even if they did, they are not likely to see you with shirt off, are they?

No one knows yet. But we have a hot tub, we swim in the summer and we have a sauna. So, yes they will see me sans shirt a lot. They won't know what it says, but will ask. And I try not to lie to mom and dad.
