Guess who is the idiout who lost their wallet yesterday? I feel just sick about it. Paul points out that it really isn't a big deal, and he's right. But now I have to cancel cards and get a new licence and insurance card. And a new wallet. And just ignore all the money that was in it. Just sick about it.

And yesterday was a lot of fun. I had a great time playing volleyball. And I got some compliments from people that ment a lot to me.

*sigh*

*hugs* It sucks to lose things like that. Good luck on getting everything changed over quickly, and just remember that the complements are just as valid /now/ as they were then.

It sucks, but it does happen. I've lost my wallet once; after I canceled all the cards, it was returned. (My spouse has lost his wallet multiple times, and says the surest way to have it turn up again is cancel all the cards in it. Sort of like carrying an umbrella to make sure it doesn't actually rain.)

It happens to everyone, eventually. Sort of like your first fender-bender or what not. I hope the wallet does come back to you, and in the meantime, you're behaving like a Responsible Adult to go cancel and replace all those cards.

Some day "Responsible Adult" will not suck so much, or at least I hope ;)

Heh. Yeah, it looks so great when you're a kid... Then you grow up and discover that "I can stay up as late as I want!" and "I can watch whatever movies I feel like!" and "I can eat ice cream for breakfast!" is accompanied by "...so long as I still get myself to work on time" and "but I have to pay for them myself" and "what do you mean, diet?"

Ah, adulthood. Never quite as much fun as it seems from a distance.

Yet the elderly seem to look back fondly... life = odd.
