Oct. 24th, 2006 07:58 amThere are only two people in my department at the Madison facility. The other one is on vacation all week. Yesterday (or our last night) India had a national holiday, which means all of the business are closed. This ment that I was the entire InDesign staff for the entire commpany. I only blew like 3 deadlines yesterday. Today should be better, since India is back online.
And I've already got like 2 work things and 2 non-work things to do while on the way to S. Dakota this weekend. Blah.
Last weekend was OK. A lot of uncomfortablness with the meeting of Bob. Granted I've never brought anyone home before, not to mention a guy. Dad was fairly unhappy, but dealt with it by not saying much. He was also in a lot of pain from having both shoulder hurt. Mom tried to keep everyone happy (as mom dose, it's where I get it from). Laura liked Bob (and vice versa) and so did Rob. The aunts and uncles were nice and talked to him. We had to sleep in seperate rooms though. Not sure when I want to go though that stress again.
This morning started out badly. I spilled coffee all over the counter at the PDQ. The attendent guy did the right thing (for a service industry business) and gave me the refill for free. Since it was just me being clutsy.
Lots of work today, plus a oil change so there aren't any issues for the trip West. I do hope to stop by Home Depot to get paint samples so I can match my couch.
The birthday loot was good, candy, money, gift cards and LOST season 2.
Edit: I forgot that on Sunday after bowling we went over to Em's to carve pumpkins. I now have a picture of them on my phone, very festive. And they totally mocked me on my design, and then of course it was awesome and everyone said so. An artist's vision is never appreciated.
Also, the iPod really should not alphabitize albums by the word "The". Very dumb.
