I decided to reread The Hobbit since the movies are on the way. Still liked it. Some boring/slow parts, but better than the trilogy. I did enjoy understanding more of who everyone was and how they tie into the trilogy, now that I've ready that too. I'm really looking forward to the movies. This is an author/story that I think is better on the screen.

Feeding Malachi by Abbie Hilton is a really good kids book, IMO. Granted I don’t have kids, but I am goin to gift it to my sister so she can read it to my nephew. It’s a good story that brings up some important adult ideas (that animals eat each other), that can get a child thinking. The illustrations are beautiful as well. Plus its from one of my favorite authors.

I am still in love with the iron Druid series by Kevin Hearne. His latest, Two Ravens and One Crow, is a great short story, giving some much needed intro for the next book that is coming out soon. Good humor, good story progression. Nice to get a taste of the world while waiting for the next one. I did finish it in like 2 hours, so it's really short.
