The first issue of Icarus, a magazine of gay speculative fiction, arrived the other day. It was advertised as gay sci-fi and fantasy. Boring. There were hardly any sci-fi or fantasy themes in the stories at all. It did list a few books I might check out. But otherwise it was a waste of paper. Poor typesetting also. I'll probably give it one more try, if they have a 2nd issue. Should go leave a review...

Not much else. Need to call my sister soon, check up on Jack.

Cold today in Madison, high of 63. Same for the rest of the week.

Back hurts, looking forward to my next adjustment.

Kinda wanna play volleyball, but will have to wait till Sunday.

Have to work all weekend, even a shift at the mall. Wonder if I remember how to do that job.

In my attempt to keep myself in entertainment at work, and since I'm catching up with the other podcasts I listen to, I downloaded "Fear on Demand". Boring (maybe it's me? since this is the second in a row with this review? naw.) I'm not sure if it's the readers or the stories. The worst part is I try and listen all the way though to see if it dose get better. Then it doesn't.

Oh well. On track for meeting today's deadline by Sunday. I'm really tired of this work. I've been doing the exact same corrections on the same page types for over a month now. I'd really like to think again soon. Though that doesn't look likely to happen any time soon.
