Yesterday was pretty shitty at work. I found out that we had been given the wrong naming convention info for one of the more common page reduction images that are used in my project, so we've been placing the images from grade 5, not grade 4 like we need to be. So all of that needs to be redone. Also I basically wasted my day trying to get the client's automated PDF generation system working, and it still isn't. The problem is I don't have access to the server or the settings, since they are at the client's facility. So I have to try something and then start up an email chain to see what happened. And then to top it off at the end of the day I managed to erase 4 days of information in my tracking log. So I have no clue what is done and what isn't. I can figure that out by getting a report off the server, but the notes that I and my helpers have put into that log saying why some files aren't done is lost.

I fail.

Watched Hellboy II last night. It was OK. Liked the first one better.

Our house is an absolute mess, getting to the gross / can't live there stage. Maybe in 3 weeks I can get to that.

Also it sounds like right after this project is done we will move onto the National version. My project is specially written for Texas, using the education standards for that state. So next we are to make the same project with a rewrite and some design changes for the national standards, so other states that aren't as specific on education standards can also use this book. Which boils down to this project not going away when this version is at the printer.

I'm also a bit annoyed at home many questions I have our there waiting for answers, because everyone else (client and many from work) had yesterday off. Seems unfair.

it's getting harder and harder to focus on good things while I try to get though this project. I'm just worn out.

Facebook's frightening new terms of service: "Now, anything you upload to Facebook can be used by Facebook in any way they deem fit, forever, no matter what you do later. Want to close your account? Good for you, but Facebook still has the right to do whatever it wants with your old content. They can even sublicense it if they want."

Not that I'll leave it, but I might be careful what I post.
