Good weekend. Got a late hair cut on Friday after Paul's work ran late, than went out for dinner at the Tornado room. It was late and we didn't feel like cooking. Was sat in the loudest dinning room ever. But the food was good.

Saturday we both worked, then met up with Lari at the Taste of Madison. Good food, loud music. Just chilled at home after.

Sunday Paul worked the morning and I did house chores. Then I went to work the mall in the afternoon. We met up with the girls and saw Dark Night finally. We all liked it. Very dark and not comic booky at all, as we heard. Ledger was awesome. When the credits rolled Jess asked "Heath Ledger was in this?"

Monday the four of us drove out to Cave of the Mounds and took the cave tour. Wasn't as good as the one I went to out west, mostly cause our guide gave pretty much the same info, so it wasn't new. But it was still fun. On the way to lunch we saw a lama farm, and since Jess loves lamas we stopped to look at them for a bit. Then we stopped in Mt. Horeb for lunch at the Grumpy Troll. Good beer, good food, not so great service. Lari wanted to go to the Christmas store, so we did that before we drove home. Lazy evening, watched Disney movies and grilled out.

Now I get to justify why my project is taking longer than the planing calculations said it should. If my pages get in this morning like we planned.

Start the power volleyball league this week. I'm a bit worried that we won't have a full team, and in a power league you really need all 6, else you get slaughtered.

I need to find some sort of at work meditation strategy so that I can move past the stress of my day to day work and focus on getting things done. I feel I'm constantly being scolded or yelled at for things I'm doing. And if I am given an alternative procedure, I feel it's more inefficient or a waste of time. I might be wrong, their way might be better, but it'd be easier to follow if things were explained to us. And if it's not procedure change is software/equipment failure. And I just can't focus or move on easily when my head and tummy are all knotted up from stress. I did some looking this weekend, but couldn't come up with anything. The best would be to get in some yoga, but that takes way too long to do during the day.

I wish the job market and economy was better, it'd give me more options. And some hope for the future on enjoying my job.
