Jun. 6th, 2008 08:42 amWe went to see Sex and the City last night at the last showing. It was good, we both enjoyed it. They kept it true to the feel of the show, but it didn't feel like an extra long episode (a la Simpsons). Plenty of funny parts, but also dramatic and sad parts. I think it helps if you are a fan of the show, as its easier to feel for the characters.
We've booked rooms for Chicago Pride at the end of the month. It sounds fun and I'm looking forward to meeting up with cousin Jim.
Tonight after work Paul and I are driving to Milwaukee pride to see Wanda Sykes but will drive back after the show. The weekend should be working at the mall and mowing the lawn, if it stays dry enough.
