I had such good plans for the weekend, and then it snowed, making me stay home for most of it. I went in yesterday morning until lunch, then went home to nap with Paul and then bring him to work. By the time I was driving back from downtown after dropping him off the snow was so bad I had to take detours to get around intersections (busy ones at that, ones by the capitol) to get home. There was no way I would get though the roads in the office park where work is. So I wrote Christmas cards and fell asleep early due to my back and being sick. No Christmas gift shopping for me that day, it was horrible with inches of snow and rain/ice.

I woke up early Sunday to see if I could get in a few hours. Our road wasn't plowed until noon, so I doubted that work's area would be either. After bringing Paul to work I managed to make in over here and had hoped that the woman that was helping me had done a ton of stuff and I could leave early. No such luck, she had issues that she couldn't solve without me, so now I'm here until Paul is done with work.

Maybe I can get in an hour or two of shopping this week. Back/neck still hurts. Throat still hurts, and apparently I gave the cold to Paul. Not the best weekend in history, for sure.

I hate that between 8pm and 9pm the temperature at work is set to go down, to conserve energy, I know. And that's a good thing. But typing with cold fingers is not fun. Another hourish and I think I can leave. Plenty of time to pick up the boy. Still kinda need dinner, but not really hungry yet. Very odd for me.
