Weekend went really well, I think. I totally bailed on going out Friday night, the hangover continued all day. I need to stop that. I was able to move all small living room stuff out of the living room and drape all the rest of the stuff.

Saturday I got up early (for a weekend, i.e. 8:00) and after breakfast taped off the living room. Then I started to paint. The celing was hard to do, but it went OK. Tom helped after he got off work, then Sam and [livejournal.com profile] spamcola helped in the afternoon. By 7 that night I was done and it looked good. Went out to look for window treatment options with Sam before watching Because I Said So. His choice, and I must say the number of chic flicks I see these days is distressing.

Sunday I put one last coat of the purple on the wall and removed the rest of the tape. The room looks very good I think. Hopefully this will curb the need to fix up the house for a while. Did other things Sunday too, like finish up Laura's invites, made a volleyball poster for Bob, bowled, had dinner with Em and went to the gym.

Ran into Dave. Apparently I didn't actually piss him off, he just never checks his messages. So he wasn't ignoring me, just not trying very hard. So we have a new plan. No more planning things in advance. If I am free and want to do something with him, I'll call. If he picks up and is interested, great. If he's not available, then I don't leave a message and I don't worry about it.

I find I miss Bob. There are deffinent things about his personality that didn't work for me. And us together doesn't work out. So I'm not going to try and see him again, but I did care about him. And I miss that. It'd be nice to find a new guy. I think it's been long enough for me to think about this now, and thus the realization.

My cousin who has been in Iraq for the past year or so (probably more like 2) is back in Germany now. And by this summer he should be back to Kansus. This is a big relief for the family. It would be awesome if he could make the wedding next month, but I doubt he'll get leave that quickly. Apparently his unit is a bit confused on how to act as normal people again.

A little while ago I deleted the [livejournal.com profile] radlilim account with plans to change the name of this one to it. Very soon after I registered this name I realized it was kinda lame, since it's not really creative. Today is the day I can switch it over (cause the renew window on [livejournal.com profile] radlilim is over). But now I'm feeling all nostalgic about this name. So I think I'll keep it. Not a very interesting user name, but it is mine. And I've had it for a while now.

Work is blah today, but what else is new?
