From [livejournal.com profile] channonyarrow: Explain your Live Journal name and its meaning. When you're done, tag as many people as there are letters in your name.

Now, jkivela is boring and dull, since when I made the journal I couldn't think of anything. In case anyone doesn't know, it's my first initial and my last name. Yeah, yippie. So, I'm gonna do my other ones.

[livejournal.com profile] pollyjuiceboy is my slash/art journal. Rarely updated since life does not allow for much art. It is a take off of polyjuice potion from Harry Potter and how I like stories that use it. The extra "l" is not because I spelled it wrong but the name was taken when it was spelled correctly.

[livejournal.com profile] radlilim is my In Nomine journal. The name comes from a character that I've never played but one I really like the concept of, Radiel (I think that's how it's spelled). He's a Free Lilim (and most are female, BTW) who specializes in selling and training people in Songs. The details on how he got the ability to teach Songs is up in the air, I have a few ideas but haven't settled yet. He will be an NPC in a game some day when I need him. He's not written up yet, but will be. I don't think I'll ever use him as a PC, since he'll have to be quiet powerful for what I want. For those who don't follow In Nomine, you can ignore that explanation.

The last one is [livejournal.com profile] tehtypesetter (what? i like having journals), which is easy to figure out since it's my work journal. And yes, i spelled "teh" that way on purpose.

And I'll use the shortest one I explained for the number of people to tag (because I can): [livejournal.com profile] blithesea, [livejournal.com profile] calli_thaala, [livejournal.com profile] diamond_dust06, [Bad username or site: driant, @ livejournal.com], [livejournal.com profile] progger88, [livejournal.com profile] scifispice80, [livejournal.com profile] sheseala, [livejournal.com profile] thermidor

So, can I just do this here? I don't have any other friends to tag.

I like prog music, i modified that to sound like 'frogger' just because, and 88 is a good number. No matter which way you turn it, it looks the same.

Here's fine, but you shouldn't be surprised if some of my friends start watching your journal just because you are on my list.

prog music?

Oh dear. Let the education begin...

There are two main kinds, Prog Rock and Prog Metal. I think you can understand the differances between the two.

Examples of Prog Rock would be Rush, Spock's Beard, Flower Kings or Yes.

Examples of Prog Metal would be Dream Theater, Queensryche, Pain of Salvation or Symphony X.

BTW, I love the Boone/Jack icon.

Well, I've heard of Queensryche. I don't remember what they sound like though... What makes it prog? I'm not very good with music.

thanks, I should get a Charlie one

Some people will say 'intelligence' while others would say 'pretentious'. Wow did I spell either of those words right?

Prog music is generally classical or jazz based where as regular rock is blues or country based.

It's generally more complex with odd time signatures and long song lengths. Often time high vocals and keyboards are present.

I have many songs that are over 20, 30, 40 minutes, even over an hour in length.
