I almost never rec fanfic. And I pretty much never like reading AU fanfic. There is a reason I read the fanfic for the fandoms that I do, and that is because I like the world/characters that exist in those fandoms. Granted, most of the fanfic I read dose alter the world/characters, but it's generally the same as the cannon.

But I recently finished the Glee Superhero AU by rainjoyswriting, it's amazing. It's funny and scary and touching. And I find I have a hard time watching Glee these days, cause I expect it more super-hero-y.

I highly rec it, if you like superheros. It reminded me a lot of Hero by Perry More (RIP).

Plus it has it's own fandom with it's own fanfic. Which is just crazy.
