Oct. 17th, 2012 03:56 pmI am getting to do something new at work, which is pretty cool. I am currently pretty slow at work. a) It's our slow period and b) I'm pretty good at my job now, so things take less time. We are currently trying to get into the mobile app field, as an add on to our other suite of products. So I've been given the task to vet out potential developers to find a few that will be a good fit, and then the management team can get into more details. So I'm making calls to companies and letting them sell me on their service. It's like the opposite of sales. It's fun, and I have to think on my feet as they ask me questions.
It won't last long, a week or so at best, but it's interesting to do something new. And that trust shows promise for future advancement.
I so rarely post good things that I figured it is important to when I can.
